Tobias Fors

I am one of the owners of the Swedish software development consultancy Citerus. By combining my experiences from working in different roles in software development with a dose of common sense and some tricks of the trade, I help other people succeed in software development.

Since 1999, I have worked as a programmer, analyst, project manager and currently spend my days as a consultant trying to help companies develop software in a way that’s more fun and more profitable. I have worked with IT departments and product developing companies in biotech, publishing and online gambling, and have recently begun to explore the world of game development. I do some public speaking from time to time.

I also train people who want to use Scrum, after having been taught the basics of Scrum by Ken Schwaber in 2003, trying it out, and having found it to be the first project framework I’ve encountered that builds on people’s intelligence and creativity rather than assuming people are stupid.
